If you are told that this coffee table is made from a pallet, will you believe it? Let's go for the DIY and the details of the steps to make the same coffee table as Rémi, of the account @interiors.by.remi.
EQUIPMENT
- 1 palette
- Planks to cover the top
- Planks to cover the outline
- 2 infinity flat iron H34 L89 cross bar 17cm black
- 10 hinge screws 20 mm
- Screwdriver
- Varnish
- Sandpaper
- Brush
- Highlight
- Hammer
DISCLAIM
- When you choose the dimensions of the infinite flat iron foot on the product sheet, the height and depth correspond to the external dimensions of the structure. To know the interior depth of the structure and therefore the width of the boards that you must provide, we recommend that you remove 1.5 cm from the depth you indicate below.
- This DIY is to be adapted in terms of boards and size of feet according to the pallet with which you will be working.
DIY PROCESS
STEP 1 :
Prepare the pallet: to do this, start by filling the existing holes with boards of the right size.
STEP 2 :
Sand the entire pallet and planks to make sure no splinters stick out and to ensure that the entire pallet is smoother.
STEP 3 :
Cover and close the sides of the pallet starting with the smallest part of the pallet , the width and then the length.
Arrange the boards, taking care to position them correctly and nail them with a hammer.
STEP 4 :
Varnish the whole to protect your new coffee table.
STEP 5 :
Come slide the 2 infinite flat iron feet on each side of the pallet and position them edge to edge with the pallet.
STEP 6 :
Screw the feet to the pallet thanks to the 10 hinge screws 20 mm and a screwdriver.
THE RESULT
That's it your 100% personalized coffee table is finished. You can play with the position of the feet in relation to the dimension of your pallet.
Fixing on the top is not compulsory , we suggest when choosing the characteristics of the foot, not to drill the upper part to fix the top or the pallet only from below or simply slide the assembly between the crossbars.
