Summer is almost here, the sun is out on its tip, it's time to get outside and enjoy. But do you have the right outdoor table to enjoy the weather?
You can't find a table that suits you: too small, not aesthetic, not the right color… You don't have to be a great handyman to make yourself your garden furniture. We explain how to make a dining table and 2 benches to dress up your garden and terrace. This DIY is created from the realization of @olympeofficiel.

DIY PROCESS
STEP 0 :
The wood therefore lives to let the bastaings rest for a few days in your interior so that they adapt to the humidity of the room.
STEP 1 :
Sand either by hand or with an electric sander with 3 different grain sand papers to soften the wood and remove splinters. Start with the grain 80 to strip the wood then 2 finer ones: 120 and 180 to finish smoothing the bastaings.
Don't forget to sand the cleats as well to avoid scratching your knees once the whole thing is assembled.
STEP 2 :
Once the sanding is finished, you can move on to painting. Using black paint, a brush or roller, you can paint the bastaings. We recommend that you paint all the bastaings to protect them from humidity over time.
Apply 2 coats of paint to make sure the wood is well covered. Leave to dry for the time indicated between each coat
STEP 3 :
Then apply a resin to protect the bastaings from external conditions. Then let it dry.
STEP 4 :
Sort the bastaings to define those for the benches and those for the table.
Position those of the table on the back to simulate your tray and come and place the cleats 40 cm from the edge of the table to fix the bastaings together.
STEP 5 :
Arrange them M71 cm feet against the cleats on the outside to make sure you put them at the same distance on each side of the table top. Screw the feet using a screwdriver and 6 cm hinge screws.
STEP 6 :
Regarding the bastaings for the bench, it is not necessary to add cleats. Fix the 2 flat iron feet outside at 17.5 cm from the edge then the central foot to exact dimensions between the 2 feet already fixed.
