MAKE A TABLE FROM A FLOOR BOOT20 April 2021
Summer and good weather are here, after having learned how to make an outdoor table with bastaings, we present a DIY to make a table from floor boots. Pauline from the account @Paulinedress imagined this DIY for your garden table.
- 6 floor boots
- 2 wooden cleats
- 2 cross legs 71 cm
- 16 hinge screw 20 mm
STEP 1 :
To craft the board, we'll be using 6 floor boots. We start by fitting them together.
STEP 2 :
Apply 2 to 3 coats of varnish on the reverse side and the back to protect your table with the varnish and the brush. Let the time indicate between 2 coats to dry.
STEP 3 :
Place the cleats 50 cm from the edge. Then nail them with the hammer and nails, to secure them to the slats. We recommend 2 nails per blade minimum.
STEP 4 :
Position the cross legs on the plate then screw them in using the hinge screws and the screwdriver.
Tips: If you want to add a guest at the end of the table, position the feet at least 30 cm inside your tray
