On an idea of @home_6.0, we present you a DIY to make a very low coffee table with beams. Very design and Californian, discover in a few very simple steps how to reproduce this piece of furniture at home !

EQUIPMENT
- 4 beams 20 cm by 130 and 6 cm thick
- A saw (jigsaw or manual)
- Sander
- Sandpaper with grit 80
- 2 thin flat iron feet H20 L70 black
- 10 Hinge screw 20 mm
- Screwdriver
- Vitrifier
- Brush
DIY PROCESS
STEP 1
Cut the beams to a length of 130 cm using a jigsaw or a manual saw.
Tips : if you do it with a manual saw, remember to sand the edges well.
STEP 2
Sand the 4 beams of 130 by 20 cm using the sander and 80 grit paper.
STEP 3
Position the beams next to each other on the back. Make sure they are the same length.
STEP 4
Position them thin flat iron feet of height 20 cm and width 70 cm above in order to center them. In the length, they should be 5 cm from the edge and in the width 20 cm from each edge. Secure them with 20 mm hinge screws and a screwdriver.
STEP 5
Protect your coffee table using a vitrifier that does not alter the color of the raw wood.
