The decoration according to the gold

When furnishing a room, we think first of all about the paint, the choice of the floor, what furniture are we going to put, and then the favorite part of many of us: the moment of choosing all the decoration. The walls

Depending on the room, you can paint an entire wall and the rest of the walls in a more neutral color such as white, gray or taupe for example.

Add touches of gold too by painting one of your walls in a graphic way: with bands of colors alternating gold and other complementary colors. You can also adopt the polka dots trend to put small circles of color in your room. It is possible to play on the different shades of gold to avoid the "too much" effect of these in your interior.

The grounds

If you want to have a touch of gold in your interior, but you don't want to touch your walls, it is possible to choose a floor with shades of gold, especially if you are starting a renovation, it can be a good choice. Many floors with touches of gold exist and the color is perceived very subtly which allows to have a distinguished interior.

THE LIVING ROOM

So your living room, this color can be present at different scales. You can create your coffee table yourself and choose your top which can have touches of color or add golden feet to make it. Coffee tables with golden feet go very well with white trays, sometimes in marble. On the two coffee table inspirations, we find a quite different foot model with a large golden drum foot and a coffee table made with two custom reinforced double legs.

To accessorize your living room, include a carpet with golden shapes, cushions, or plaids. Various and varied decorative elements that you like and that belong to the shades of color.

Also elevate your TV cabinet with legs of different models to give your furniture a new look.

THE DINING ROOM

Gold invites itself into your dining room through different pieces of furniture and therefore different creations. First piece of furniture and the most important: the dining table. The choice of top and legs are important both in terms of usefulness and aesthetic appearance. In the photos of dining tables, we see that our different models of gold legs go well with various tops : white top, glass top, and obviously wooden top. After the dining table, it is possible to coordinate all your decoration around it, by adding chairs whose colors are in total harmony with the gold, as can be see in the photo the dining table with the glass top and the blue and gold velvet chairs.

If you have a sideboard or dresser in your dining room, it is possible for you to add a touch of gold by revamping it: painting the doors, enhancing with legs...

As in the living room, it is possible to highlight the color with small decorative elements: vases, placemats, flowers.

THE BEDROOM

Finally, on one of the most important rooms in a house: the bedroom. There are many ways to incorporate this color into a bedroom. The first and most useful piece of furniture in a bedroom: the bed. Add gold by changing the legs of your bed or by having a duvet cover in these tones. Small extra cushions and you're done!

Then we have the end of the bed which is a decorative piece of furniture but still very useful.

Finally, two pieces of furniture that can be found in a bedroom but also in any room of your house: the console/dressing table and the desk. Two pieces of furniture where it is easy to add colors in small touches without overdoing it. For both you have the possibility of choosing gold-colored feet or adding decorative elements of this color.
