I am indeed delighted to be an interior decorator. As a little girl, I loved decorating, furnishing my room, changing the furniture to find the optimal configuration. I worked in marketing and, 5 years ago, we bought an apartment with my husband, I became passionate about decorating and I wanted to make it my job. I then undertook a professional retraining project and I trained, I needed to solidify my expertise and to feel legitimate to fully launch myself.

I work with individuals and businesses, mainly restaurants, in Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and France. I advise in terms of colors, furnishings, circulation and harmony of space. What I find most exciting is listening to and emerging customer needs: trust is built and established, and little by little we come into people's privacy. The decoration or furnishing project is often a joint construction.

WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION AND YOUR ARTISTIC PAINT ?

I think that I develop inspiration everywhere, all the time: when I read, watch a movie, take a walk, go to an exhibition; I am also a digital enthusiast so I follow Instagram and Pinterest a lot; I am open to everything. When I think of decoration, I of course see aesthetics and style, but I immediately think of traffic, practicality and comfort of life. My style is evolving and refining; if I had to define it I would say that it is close to Mid-Century Modern, which comes from the US: straight lines, defined and geometric shapes where the colors are strong and bright, I like to marry it with the Nordic style , both minimalist and warm and then highlight the materials, wood and steel. I have a crush on the marriage of these 2 materials because they enhance each other, it is natural! We can then create cool things.

Speaking of steel, how table legs fit into your decorating world ?

Table legs are magic. It opens up a lot of possibilities. It's very versatile: you can give a second life to old furniture, you can create different, unique pieces of furniture such as shelves, benches, consoles, islands, kitchen tables and completely custom-made desks. We can play on the style, the height and the color. It's just perfect and that's what I like about La Fabrique des Pieds: it offers a variety of feet like manufacturers (which I love!), crusaders and hairpin. I can easily request tailor-made for projects. The choice of colors too, between a white, black or copper base, the style and atmosphere created will be totally different.

I find in La Fabrique values that I also share with my clients: that of simplicity, quality and honesty. Without this, trust does not exist and without trust, projects do not succeed .
