The underwear of the new Spring 2019 collection

These are always strong moments, moments of doubt also when we wonder if we have made the right choices. A new collection, new feet cannot be invented overnight (though!). This creation is always born from a need, it is still necessary to identify and understand it.

I have often been told: "Florent, you have your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds". Maybe that's why it works. Do nice things, yes! But above all, they meet a need, be practical and useful.

At La Fabrique, we love to listen, talk with our customers about what they do, their needs, their desires. They are called the Fabricoleurs.

It was from multiple exchanges with lots of customers that we thought that in the spring of 2019, we were particularly shedding consoles. We tried on a small scale, on a few products and we saw that the reception was very positive, these new console feet responded well to a need, an expectation. We always wanted to be provocative of trends in the products we released. With this collection, the Fabrique wants to make accessible a piece of furniture that is often expensive, the wrong size and not often the style that we want to give to our interior.

LEAVE THE ROOM FOR CREATIVITY

This is what I love to do. The feet that we offer have an elegance, a style, an imprint but they completely leave room to the imagination, to the envy of the creators whether they are professionals or individuals. The feet come highlighting a piece of furniture, a tray of any material, it is the magic of the association of styles and colors too.

DECLINE, MULTIPLY THE POSSIBILITIES OF DEVELOPMENT

Here too, it is also a strong desire of the Fabrique: to allow everyone to create their own furniture and to make their interior unique and subtle. The M legs and twist, had already worked very well during our collection of fall 2018 because they brought a unique touch to the furniture.

In the second part of our Spring 2019 collection, we have chosen to offer the Flat Iron: timeless for the industrial style. Always in search of elegance and practicality, custom-made flat iron bases are perfect for creating many pieces of furniture: bookcase, TV cabinet, coffee table… And the addition of crossbars makes it possible to multiply the storage surfaces. The marriage of steel and wood creates an elegant and harmonious marriage, the piece of furniture also becomes simply a decorative object ... accessible to everyone, the beautiful comes at home. This is what we were really trying to make possible.

 

CAUSE AND INNOVATE

Other strong values of the Fabrique, made in France. It is true that the French have the reputation of being moaners, but France is also a country of creators and innovations. You just have to see which are the biggest high fashion brands. At La Fabrique, we don't do haute couture but we really like to innovate and create, also shake things up from our workshop and from there constantly offer new feet, especially for tables, historic furniture for the Fabrique.

With the third part of this Spring collection, we have expanded and diversified our range with unstructured feet, which can be combined with any type of top: wood, marble ... The dining table becomes atypical, it does not look like that of others.
