Resin is more and more trendy, especially when you want to create furniture yourself from A to Z. The best known resin is epoxy resin, widely used in the creation of dining table tops and coffee tables.
This resin is used by many professionals, it is considered the reference in terms of resin. Epoxy resin has strong mechanical and chemical resistance. Epoxy resin is known to be very customizable. Indeed, it is enough to add color pigments that can create a large color chart. However, this resin has some drawbacks. It is true that it scratches easily. In addition, the installation is complex, because you have to know your product perfectly and be used to applying it so that the result is uniform and without bubbles.
We offer you a selection of several projects in epoxy resin
1. Anaïs' dining table
Choosing your dining table is a difficult choice. It is one of the central rooms of the house, it deserves special consideration. The addition of an epoxy resin in a dining table project makes it unique through the know-how used. This dining table is a 100% personalized creation, by the choice of resin, the color of the top as well as its shape and the choice of table legs. The tray is made of light wood, with a black strip of resin in the center of the tray. The layout of this resin is reminiscent of an integrated table runner that is self-sufficient. The legs M and the choice of chairs reinforce the black color of the resin and create a perfect harmony with the whole tabletop.
2. The black and white pedestal table in duo with Pascal's coffee table
Resin is suitable for all types of projects, especially the smallest pieces of furniture. The pedestal table here is made with a round top in black and white epoxy resin with old wood effects and the triple leg. The black and white blend perfectly, the association is more marked with the coffee table, almost identical, that we see in the background. The staggered triangle effect adds an original dimension to the pedestal table and gives it a more designer appearance.
Tip: for this creation, the epoxy resin is the main element unlike other projects where the resin complements the wooden top. The design is thought around the resin and not the tray.

3. The coffee table made by @epoxywood_fr
A nice coffee table made from a pretty wooden top and epoxy resin with 40 cm hairpin legs. Raw wood with pronounced knots transformed into a modern top with a nice touch of black epoxy. There is a strip of resin placed naturally in the center of the top and all around the coffee table to create a defined and linear shape for the furniture. The coffee table is easily created once the top is ready, all that remains is to attach the legs and you're done.

4. Sohi's coffee table
Another coffee table project but different from the previous one. Like what, it is possible to vary the use of resin for the same project. Here, we find a coffee table combining white thanks to the 40 cm M legs and a wooden top with visible knots and a cast of translucent resin. As the top is quite thick, the epoxy resin adds lightness to the coffee table. This notion of lightness is accentuated with the edges of the top which have been planed.

5. Very original blue bench
Let’s not forget the seating projects, also possible, with epoxy resin tops. This creation is a very original bench combining the raw steel of link feet , and an old wooden top with touches of blue resin in the center of the seat and all around the top.
6. Fabienne's Dining Table
Fabienne's creation is 100% original. A large dining table handcrafted from A to Z. The table consists of 3 legs: two thick copper flat iron feet link on the ends of the table and a copper cross leg in the center of the table, lengthwise. 3 feet to best stabilize this large top. Speaking of the top, it is the star element of this table. It is created from pieces of wood with atypical shapes and epoxy resin. Several resins were applied in different layers: transparent and blue.
7. Coffee table by meubles.roux
This coffee table is almost the miniature project of Anaïs' dining table above. The resin is also in the center of it, this time it is not black but blue with white in the middle, like a wave effect. In addition to the resin, the top is made of wood with traces of bark on the blank. The 40 cm cross legs are added to this top to create a coffee table mixing 3 noble materials: wood, steel and epoxy.

8. Vintage Dining Table
A little bonus project, very original, retro and colorful: a dining table with the addition of Lego all around it. The dining table is created using two double reinforced legs and a thick top with the legos assembled all around. In addition to the legos, there are colored plates interposed between the Lego blocks. Everything is homogenized with a layer of transparent resin to keep this creation in place.
Resin is a great solution to add originality to your project. With more feet from La Fabrique des Pieds, the project is more atypical.
