MALVINA AND THE FEET, A BEAUTIFUL STORY

Malvina is a somewhat special Fabricoleuse, Malvina is the companion of Kevin, one of the first metalworkers of the Factory, who, on a daily basis, shapes, welds, assembles, paints and sends the feet to all our Fabricoleurs.

A future school teacher, Malvina is very sensitive to aesthetics, she has even studied it. She is preparing to be in contact with children and, with this passion for transmission, wants all our blond heads to have access to knowledge.

DISCOVERING THE POTENTIAL OF THE FEET

It was with Kevin that Malvina discovered steel feet and she quickly realized what she was going to be able to do with it. The beautiful story begins in December when Kevin gives her a pretty steel tree, a Christmas tree mixing silver and gold. From there it is the discovery and a desire to rearrange one's home, a home in one's image, unique of course.

FEET COME EVERYWHERE

Ideas fuse, it's the magic of the feet so Malvina has lots of projects and above all she undertakes them: enhance a TV cabinet, create a table, create a dressing table too, make a custom island in the kitchen, make a table. extra in the laundry room, make a bench and shelves too ...

What Malvina likes about Les Pieds de la Fabrique is above all the simplicity of creation and the possibility of combining any type of material, for Malvina it is especially wood. Everything is available and continues because in the end, "even if the furniture changes, we want new things, we can always reuse the feet for other creations and keep the tops or furniture for other furniture, nothing is wrong. gets lost and that's great ”says Malvina.

We are very proud of all these projects at La Fabrique. Why ? Because our deepest wish is to simply allow everyone to have beautiful things and there with our Feet, Malvina creates a splendid place to live. And that we love !

Malvina wanted to keep a harmony of black feet to create her furniture. However, she has diversified the styles of feet with M feet and X cross feet. Her favorite color is copper, she likes its modernity and reflections. Aesthetics is something that drives Malvina; curious by nature. She likes to surf blogs, Insta and decoration sites to see examples of work and get more ideas, especially around the Scandinavian and minimalist styles that she is particularly fond of..

CREATE A HAIRDRESSER: ZOOM

Super practical in a bedroom, Malvina created a dressing table by taking a beautiful wooden board and simply attaching legs to it. The result is stunning and the dressing table goes well with the pretty associated chair.

Her next achievement, she told us, will be wall shelves but seen at the speed Malvina is going, the shelves may already be installed! (Thanks Kevin!)
