MATERIAL
- IVAR furniture
- Black paint for wood furniture
- Paint roller
- Burlap: 2 panels of 71 cm by 30 cm
- Black paint for jute
- Brush
- Cleat 4 cm x 240 cm x 1,5 cm
- Glue gun
- Screwdriver
- 2 black custom thin flat iron 26 cm high and 30 cm wide
- 10 hinge screws 20 mm
DIY PROCESS
STEP 1 :
Paint your furniture with suitable wood paint and a roller. Let dry time indicate.
STEP 2 :
Turn the furniture over to position it the made-to-measure flat iron feet and screw them on thanks to the 10 20 mm hinge screws and the screwdriver.
STEP 3 :
We will create the dials. To do this, start by cutting the necessary burlap, i.e. 2 panels of 71 cm by 30 cm.
STEP 4 :
Paint the 2 burlap using black burlap paint and a brush.
STEP 5 :
Cut the cleats with diagonal angles, you will need 2 cleats of 4x72 cm and 2 other cleats of 4x30.5 cm.
STEP 6 :
Paint the cleats with the paint suitable for wood, a roller and let dry.
STEP 7 :
Glue the cleats to the burlap using the glue gun. Make sure you keep an angle of 90 ° degrees.
Tips: Put wood filler if necessary, to finish the angles well.
STEP 8 :
Disassemble the cabinet doors to nail the dials on them to ensure you position them in the center.
