Customize a game table

Mandy from the account @nesth0use imagined a table with double use: a play table for the children and a small decorative side table. She had a tray that suited her, it had to be adapted and brought up to date. With this oval top is a piece of vinyl, this table has a whole new look.

EQUIPMENT

• An oval table top
• Double-sided tape
• vinyl decor
• Cutter
• 4 conical feet 40 cm
• 16 hinge screws of 20 mm

DIY PROCEDURE

STEP 1

Take the double-sided tape and cut out pieces to position them on the front of your oval tray. Put adhesive on the contours and in its center.

STEP 2

Position your vinyl decor over it, taking care to center it in relation to the tray.

STEP 3

Cut your vinyl decor on the back, taking care to respect the shape of the oval tray.

STEP 4

Once the decor and the board are one, cut out the excess using the cutter, following the lines of the board.

STEP 5

Turn the tray over by positioning it on its back and position the 4 conical feet.

When positioning, arrange the equal dimensions of the edge and the sides so that the assembly is symmetrical.

STEP 6

Screw the 4 conical feet 40 cm using the 20mm hinge screws and a screwdriver.

Tips : do not take into account the thickness of the vinyl decor when choosing the screws. It is a very thin element and it may be damaged.
